HR 1136 Co-Sponsors...from New York, You Say?

NYSVA's New York Minute...

Early in the year, Congressman Chris Collins signed on as a co-sponsor of HR 1136, the Cole-Bishop sponsored bill that would move the predicate date and allow vapor products currently on the market to remain, without having to submit an onerous pre-market application. We thank Congressman Collins on behalf of his constituents, some of whom are very active members of the NYSVA who have worked hard to keep him informed on harm reduction and the vapor industry.

Later this spring, NYSVA board members were in touch with Congressman Daniel Donovan's office to ask him to consider co-sponsoring HR 1136 as well. We brought to his attention the issues we as vapor product businesses are confronting due to the FDA's Deeming Regulations. He confirmed that indeed supports us and signed on recently also signed on as a co-sponsor of HR 1136.

All New York vapers should reach out to these congressmen and thank them for their support! Visit CASAA to send a thank you letter to these representatives!
